Google - Fresh Results

To search only results from the past x ammount of days take a google search results URL and append &as_qdr=dx but replace the x with a number of days. Example. Read full post here.

JigSaw - Free leads with no account!

Enter this command into a search engine: site:jigsaw.com intitle:in.jigsaw's -intitle:from then add the name of a company or competitor. Be sure to click on "Repeat the search with omited results" at the bottom of your results page. You will get name, title and company for C and V level contacts from JigSaw without needing to have an account. Read more here.

LinkedIn Boolean

LinkedIn's search interface allows the use of full Boolean querries. For example in the Job Title search box you could use: (Engineer OR Developer) AND NOT Sales.

International - Top Level Domain Search

Search results from pages hosted in a particular coutry by using the site: command in conjunction with that country's TLD. Example: to search only pages hosted by Canadian domains use site:ca. This works on most major search engines. Click here for a list of all Country TLD's.

Image Search

The image search allows you to search for.jpeg images on .html documents. Open www.altavista.com and try this: (title:resume OR url:resume) AND (image:mcse OR image:microsoft certified systems engineer) then run search.
