Instant Search

These links are shortcuts that allow you to skip all the ads and go directly to your search results in any of the categories below. Create a folder in your Explorer Personal Tool Bar by editing your bookmarks, or create a new folder in IE Favorites. Then drag your favorite JavaApplets below, and you will have Instant Search Buttons right on your tool bar. Two ways to get results: 1.) Highlight a word or phrase on a website, then select the appropriate button from your toolbar or favorites. Alternatively 2.) Enter your keywords into the box that pops up. You may use booleans and field searches just like at the actual search engine.

NOTE: If you use Netscape Navigator for browsing please select the other link labeled Netscape Search. These Instant Search JavaScript bookmarklets are specifically tailored for each browser and will not work with the 'other'browser. For Opera use the I.E. Favorites.

Link Trace Does a link: search on AltaVista finding sites that link to the website you are currently visiting, plus whatever keywords you enter.
Lsoft Mailing Lists Search the LISTSERV database for lists whose name, host name and/or title matches your search string. You can search for multiple topics by separating them with a comma.
